If you have a break through patented (or patent pending) idea that could make an impact on our Consumer business, we invite you to submit this idea on the web form.

Following submission, your idea will be screened for suitability for our business objectives. Successful screening leads to evaluation by a team of cross-functional experts. After a positive evaluation, a broader team performs due diligence, which, if successful, leads to recommendation to proceed with licensing or acquisition.

Screening

Idea is received and initial assessment is done by Business Development to determine suitability for Evaluation.

Evaluation

Cross functional team, including technical and patent experts, and Marketing reviews all submitted information to determine business interest. Typical timeline for both Screening and Evaluation is 2-20 business days.

Due Diligence

A project team is formed to determine business, technical and financial feasibility. Results are presented to project sponsors for go/no go decision. Typical timeline is 30-60 business days.

License or Acquisition Decision

Senior management approves moving forward with negotiation terms. Typical timeline for Licensing Decision is 60-90 business days.
